This auction puts your name down as the one and only entry on the KSS customs list. To keep my stress level as low as possible, I only intend to carry a list of length one from now on. I plan to auction a slot like this once a month. The winner of this auction wins only the custom slot and will still have to pay the full retail price of the custom item that is ordered. One hundred percent of the proceeds from this auction will go to Jen of Mom and Me Creations, whose son Samuel is fighting courageously against leukemia. So, for example, if the final bid price for this auction is $20 and the winner chooses to order a small unembellished soaker, the winner will pay $80, $60 of which is the retail value of the item and goes to KSS, and $20 of which will go to Jen.
The winner will be able to choose all aspects of her item -- size, color, style (soaker, shorts, or pants), and, of course, embellishment. We will discuss the details until we are both satisfied that the end result will be perfect. In addition, the winner will have a choice of my organic yarn from Full Belly Farms, or my new yarn addition, Bluefaced Leicester wool from England. I will be writing up a detailed description of the Bluefaced Leicester but for now, I'll just say it is extremely soft, lustrous and I am doing extensive research but so far have every reason to believe that the sheep it is shorn from are treated perfectly humanely.
