I had my son Isaac in mind the whole time I worked on these shorts. He's got to be the most boyish boy I know. And he *loves* dinosaurs (I know that's nothing unique for little boys, but still...) His favorite? Why Tyrannosaurus Rex, of course. In fact, there's quite a resemblance between Isaac and a T. Rex when he's in certain moods.
The yarn for these shorts is dyed in shades of Caribbean blue and burnt orange. It is knit with my 4-ply Bluefaced Leicester yarn. Soft, strong, lustrous and the exact right weight to result in trim soakers and pants with the perfect amount of drape. I *love* this yarn.
These shorts are embellished with a snarling little T. Rex. He'd be scary if he were 20 feet tall, but at this size, he's kind of cute ;).
